September 8 - 25 with Leona Brown  

September 8  Fly with Air Canada from Winnipeg, Canada, to warm and Sunny Athens.

September 9  Overnight in Athens to get ourselves acclimatized and into the spirit of the Greek life!

September 10  Ride the ferry to the island of Mykonos, where we stay at the charming family run hotel Kamari.  For the week we will be painting each morning, and then site seeing in the afternoon.  Each evening there will be a critique of the day’s work and an overview of what the exercises will be for the following day.  At the end of the drive of our hotel is a bus stop to take us to the market and seaside, where we can purchase lunches and dinners.
The hotel supplies breakfasts each morning on their open-air patio filled with bougainvillea flowers.

September 18  Ferry ride to Santorini.  Again there will be painting demonstrations and critiques in the evenings.  The towns of Fira and Oia offer endless painting opportunities at every turn.  We will stay one week painting the awesome sunsets and scenery.

September 23  Return to Athens.  We will be staying in a hotel near the historical Plaka and Acropolis.  We will also have the use of our own bus to allow us to do some site seeing and to marvel at the ruins and the history of the place.
 

September 25  Sadly say farewell to the Greek experience and travel home.

Pricing* should be finalized by the end of February.

Land Price: $2984* includes: hotels, double occupancy, breakfasts in Mykonos, art instruction and critiques, ferry transportation, bus transportation.
Air Price: $1166* from Winnipeg plus $418* taxes (you can use your credit card and/or air miles.)
