March 13th ..... ENCAUSTIC MONO PRINTS
Using wax crayons and hot trays we will be playing with finger painting paper (because of its slickness) and creating amazing one of a kind prints. Crayons and hot trays will be supplied. Yupo paper (a synthetic paper) is also a wonderful surface to create these awesome landscapes.

April 10th ..... MIXED MEDIA
Playing with the looseness and easy flow of watercolours is the beginning of this process. After drying and spraying with a fixative, a gloss medium is applied to seal the paint and to allow acrylics to slide on top. Using a hard eraser we will then scrape and apply black or white acrylics to enhance the watercolour.

April 24th ..... GESSO and CANVAS
Using those canvases that you bought from the dollar store?...you can play with texture with GESSO. Imprint cheesecloth, saran wrap, twigs into the damp gesso and then once dry, paint with watercolour to give amazing effects.
